Ways to Pack Your kitchen for Moving

When you are moving the majority of people would come to an agreement that kitchens are one of the most challenging rooms to pack. Just about all kitchens have a lot of cabinets and drawers that require to be packed. Here are some guidelines to make the process easier:

Sorting Through Your Things
You want to sort through your items. This can be a good time to decide on what you are bringing and what things you will be selling or donating.

Make an essentials box.
Your life will be easier at your new house if you have a particular box that holds the items that you'll need right away. Some things you should pack are dish towels, coffee maker, soap, toaster, silverware, dishes, etc. Also, include one all-purpose pan or pot in your essentials box.

Packing materials.
Make a plan on how many boxes you will be using. Our packing experts recommend 10 medium boxes, 6 large boxes, and 6 heavy-duty boxes for an average sized kitchen. Also purchase some packing materials like markers, paper, and packing tape.

Packing drawers
Our packers suggest you begin with the messiest drawer and work from there. If there are items you never use, give it away or sell it.

Packing dishes
When you packing glass items use cell kits because they are very practical for liquor, stemware or wine items. Label or mark each box fragile. Take some time doing this because you want to assure nothing gets destroyed. Pack up bowls, plates, and other fragile items with the correct packing paper.
