Newspaper or print can be messy and can leave behind ink residue on items. Instead, use clean socks as a perfect impromptu to cover glassware, firmware or other fragile or glass items. You can slip the item into the sock or pack in them it to open spaces in the box. The socks will act as a shield to keep the items from getting damaged during the move.


If you’re moving in the next few months, be sure to keep any extra socks that may have. They will come in handy!
